An Appleton man will spend five years in prison for trying to rob a liquor store. Kyle Peebles is also sentenced in Outagamie County Court to five years on extended supervision for Attempted Armed Robbery. Peebles pulled a gun on a clerk at Memorial Liquor back in August. He struck the worker with the pistol–which went off and kicked back into his face–causing him to run off with no cash.
