Crews have recovered the body of a victim in a fire in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Crews were called to Butch’s Bar on 3rd Avenue around 3-30 this (Tuesday) morning to find flames coming from the roof and windows. Sturgeon Bay Assistant Police Chief Dan Brinkman says there were 20-apartments on the second floor of the building.
One person was hospitalized with burns. One other resident is still unaccounted for. A two-block area remains closed off because the roof and second floor collapsed leaving the four walls unsteady.
