The incoming Appleton School District Superintendent feels the transition into his new role will go smoothly. Greg Hartjes is the current financial operating officer for the district. He told Jonathan Krause on Krause and Company he has worked with current superintendent Judy Baseman for many years. Hartjes says his short term goal will be to look for ways to help students recover from the pandemic. He also wants to close the gap on some divisions in the community.
Hartjes has been with the district for 30 years. He takes over his new role July first.
