The number of new cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin exceeds 15-hundred for the first time since February 18th. The state Department of Health Services reports 1,551 positive tests today (Friday)–which increases the weekly average to 568 new cases a day. Officials say the spike is due to catching up on a backlog of reports–and that the newest cases are still in line with lower numbers the past few weeks. There were three deaths reported today.
