STURGEON BAY, Wis. — A former Sturgeon Bay man accused of killing his wife in 1975 is convicted.
A jury finds 86-year-old Richard Pierce guilty of 1st Degree Murder and Disinterment of Dead in connection with the death of Carol Jean Pierce.
Pierce was the last person to see Carol Jean before she went missing. He moved to Michigan shortly after her disappearance.
Carol Jean’s remains have not been found.
