(SURING, WI)–It’s 25-years in prison and lifetime supervised release for a former Suring teacher and coach convicted of sexually abusing a child. 37-year-old John Fredenburgh pleaded guilty to Transportation of a Minor with the Intent to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity and Child Enticement. The victim in the case was 12-years-old when the abuse started. It continued over five-and-a-half years and included multiple meet ups during camping trips and at motels. During one meet up, investigators say Fredenburgh showed a badge from his time as a social worker with Marinette Child Protective Services. He told the clerk the motel clerk he was meeting up with a client. The victim also told investigators Fredenburgh supplied her with alcohol and illicit drugs.
