Today’s Dumb Criminal of the Day is… The Walmart DUI Guy
A Florida man was arrested recently on drunk driving charges, but he wasn’t driving a car.

39-year-old Aaron Gregory was arrested for a DUI after allegedly being highly intoxicated while driving… a motorized scooter inside of a Walmart. Eye witness accounts say Gregory was driving the motorized scooter erratically nearly hitting shoppers, driving into shelves, knocking over display stands, and dozing off.
Gregory was said to be so intoxicated that he could hardly stand on his own and had to be transported from the store in a stretcher. Gregory had a backpack on him that allegedly contained an open bottle of Smirnoff vodka.
The Smoking Gun states that:
“Gregory was charged with four misdemeanors, including driving under the influence, disorderly intoxication, and possession of an open container of alcohol. He is being held in the Brevard County jail in lieu of $3000 bond.”
Most states consider motorized scooters, even Bird scooters, mopeds, electric wheelchairs (and other similar devices), bicycles, and even horses can be eligible for a DUI or OWI.
(In Wisconsin, no law makes it illegal to ride your bike home, or take your trusty ol’ horse home from the bar. Yee-haw.)
