What is gonna happen on September 24th?!
If you ask some conspiracy theorists, they seem to think they figured out something, and it’s kinda freaky, take a listen:
I mean that’s creepy. Some conspiracy theorists think that some pretty wild things could happen, like a nuclear attack, a zombie apocalypse, mass cyberattacks, or even a solar flare. (Honestly, the solar flare thing is probably the most likely, if anything, since the Sun has been wildin’ out like crazy lately.
Plus, there are like 6 planets in retrograde. I still don’t even know what that means, but whatevs.
Basically, conspiracy theorists put their heads together and spun themselves into a frenzy because a German politician said something along the lines of, “Everyone will remember where they were on September 24th” in a speech months ago. Some say what he meant to say was February 24th, the day Russia invaded Ukraine.

That alone wouldn’t be too alarming. Honest mistake, right? Maybe. The conspiracy theorists dived in a little deeper and watched season 24 episode 9 (9/24 = September 24th) of The Simpsons, and discovered that that particular episode was about a bunch of doomsday preppers getting ready for the end of the world. Okay, thaaaaat’s creepy. Especially since The Simpsons have a long history of somehow predicting the future. I don’t know how it’s even possible, but The Simpsons have successfully predicted many things that have come to fruition years like 9/11, the Ebola outbreak, Donald Trump becoming President, smartwatches, and even auto-correct.
Here’s the clip from The Simpsons:

Hear me out, I love a good conspiracy theory, they make things fun and dramatic, but do I think we should be worried about something happening Saturday? Nah.
I mean, I sure hope not, I’ve got a lot of football to watch this weekend, and that would totally be a major buzzkill at Octoberfest.
Seriously, come hang with me, drink some brews, eat some amazing food, and see some great bands this weekend at the KISS-FM stage! (It’s free 😉)
