FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Two people are arrested in connection with a stolen car and chase.
Police say an SUV was stolen in Menasha and was heading south on Interstate 41 late Tuesday night.
An officer tried to pull over the SUV in the area of I-41 and S. Military Road in Fond du Lac, but it sped off. That led to a chase through Fond du Lac that reached speeds of about 90 mph.
The SUV eventually stopped in the 100 block of Western Avenue. The driver, a 19-year-old Eau Claire man, and his passenger, a 25-year-old Neenah man, got out of the vehicle and went into the east branch of the Fond du Lac River before being arrested.
No injuries were reported.
