ALTO, Wis–The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office credits a drone with helping to find a missing boy in a cornfield. The department was dispatched to a farm in the town of Alto around 8:50 Sunday night on the report that the boy had wandered into the 100-acre field surrounding his family’s home.
A drone equipped with a heat-sensing camera was able to spot the boy amongst the rows of corn and to direct searchers to him. The boy was not hurt.
