MANITOWOC, Wis. — The boyfriend of Elijah Vue’s mother is going to trial in connection with the 3-year-old’s death.
A Manitowoc County judge binds Jesse Vang over Wednesday for trial in that case.
Vang faces two felony charges of repeated acts of physical abuse of a child causing death and hiding a corpse.
Vue was reported missing Feb. 20 while in Vang’s care. The toddler’s remains were found on private property in September just a few miles from Vang’s apartment.
Vang is scheduled to be arraigned on Nov. 18. Vue’s mother, Katrina Baur, is also charged in this case.
