KEWAUNEE, Wis. — Kewaunee police are looking for people asking children to pet their chicken.
According to a Facebook post, a group of boys were playing basketball at a school playground around 2:30 p.m. Sunday when they were approached by two teenage girls asking if they would like to pet a chicken.
An older man was parked in a nearby minivan with the back hatch open and a chicken in a cage in the back.
The basketball players did not take the girls up on their offer.
Police say they would just like to talk to the man in the van about his intentions.
