NEW LONDON, Wis. — A staff member at a New London elementary school is arrested after allegedly being in possession of cocaine on school grounds.
According to a letter sent to parents at Lincoln Elementary, the staffer was taken into custody last Thursday after a search of a vehicle in the parking lot turned up the drugs.
The staff member was taken to the Waupaca County Jail where charges are pending.
New London school officials say no students or staff were put in harm’s way.
