Calumet County Sheriff’s officials say speed was an issue when a 17-year-old boy crashed a truck into the Harrison Village Hall Monday night.
Lieutenant Eric Voland thinks the Kaukauna teen was going about 70-miles-an-hour.
He does not believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
Voland says the boy made poor decisions when he hit a large window driving right into the building.
The Harrison fire department says the truck narrowly missed a main beam.
The boy wasn’t seriously hurt.
Voland says charges may be filed against him.
