The longtime owner of a car repair shop in downtown Green Bay is retiring and he’s passing on the business to one of his workers.
Dave Shaw of Downtown Auto Services says he was given the chance to take over the shop about 25 years ago. He wanted to pass that on to someone else. He says he was grateful for that opportunity, and he wanted someone that would also appreciate it.
Aaron Schmitt started working for Shaw about two years ago with the intention of owning it one day.
Schmitt plans to continue Shaw’s policy of doing the right thing for customers.
