What’s being billed as the largest Rock the Block in U.S. history gets underway today in Menasha.
Ryan Roth is with the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity. He says volunteers will be working on more than 100 projects over the next several months. They hope to finish the work in November.
Roth says they’ll be working in the area bordering 9th and Tayco streets, and the Fox River.
He says they raised $1.2 million to pay for the projects. Volunteers will be replacing roofs, and fixing siding, porches, and windows. The goal is to improve the outside of homes.
