A farmer in Kansas says he had problems with business deals he made with the suspect in the presumed deaths of two brothers from the Seymour area.
David Foster of Fort Scott, Kansas says 25-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson stopped paying him.
Thirty-five-year-old Nick Diemel and 24-year-old Justin Diemel went missing last month. They own Diemel’s Livestock, and they stopped at Nelson’s farm in Braymer, Missouri on a business trip.
Foster says he talked with Nick several times, and he was frustrated with Nelson. He says Nelson wasn’t paying them the money they were owed, and he didn’t even have the cattle. Foster believes Nelson killed most of them.
Nelson is behind bars on a charge that he drove the Diemel brothers’ rental truck.
