Crews from Wisconsin Public Service worked around the clock in the Green Bay area, after Wednesday’s storms knocked out power.
Damage from summer thunderstorms is something that spokesman Matt Cullen says they expect and prepare for. He says they closely monitor weather forecasts and make sure crews are ready to go, if necessary.
But Cullen says the tornadoes and strong winds that hit parts of northeast and northcentral Wisconsin last month were different. He says the widespread damage was something that crews haven’t seen in about two decades.
