Volunteers will give veterans a chance to fish on Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh tomorrow morning.
The Appleton-based Wounded Warriors of Wisconsin is putting an event together for the second year.
Volunteer Vickie Frank calls it fishing on steroids, because over 100 people will help more than 70 veterans get out on the water.
Frank says veterans will go out early in the morning, from Skipper Bud’s Marina in Oshkosh.
The community is invited to hear their stories and celebrate them, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. She says they’ll have food and raffles to help support the nonprofit.
