Governor Evers stopped in Green Bay yesterday and he helped fill some potholes in the downtown area.
He worked with a crew at the corner of Adams and Crooks streets. Evers used the trip to talk about his local transportation grants. He says the 75 million dollars that’s set aside isn’t just for fixing roads. It can also be used for things like public transportation.
Counties and communities can apply for the grants. That money could cover up to 90 percent of the cost of a project.
