The Winnebago County Board could take a vote of no confidence in longtime Coroner Barry Busby tonight.
The proposal also calls for censuring him. Busby has come under fire this year with a number of accusations of wrongdoing. That concerns Supervisor Paul Eisen of Menasha. He says Busby is accused of sexual harassment and spending the winter living outside of Wisconsin.
Busby has strongly denied the accusations and he’s threatening to sue the people making them.
Tonight’s vote will not remove Busby from office. That could only happen through a recall election or if the Governor issues an order.
