Walmart is trying again to have its property tax assessment lowered in Oshkosh.
The retail giant is suing the city over the what’s called the “dark store loophole.” It allows open stores to be assessed at the same value as vacant buildings.
The two sides were ordered to go to mediation, following an initial lawsuit last year.
Walmart is looking to have its assessment reduced by $6.2 million.
