Congressman Mike Gallagher was in De Pere yesterday to honor veterans and people working with them in northeast Wisconsin.
The Green Bay Republican says past generations didn’t always appreciate veterans like during the Vietnam era. He thinks it’s important everyone does now. He says most people don’t realize how much people working in the veteran community have to deal with.
Gallagher says there’s a dedicated veteran community in the area and it’s important to make them feel welcome.
