A 66-year-old De Pere man is in custody, after a crime spree and chase in Marinette County.
Sheriff’s deputies say he was driving a stolen car from Green Bay when he hit a gas pump at a station in Crivitz, around 11:30 a.m. today. They say he then drove off from a gas station in Wausaukee, without paying, and led deputies on a high-speed chase.
They say the man eventually drove off Highway 8 near Dunbar, and got stuck in some mud. He ran away, and deputies later found him by an ATV trail.
