A federal judge is dismissing a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the estate of a man shot and killed by Green Bay Police Officers in 2015.
The suit was filed by Joseph Biegert’s mother.
She claimed the officers violated her son’s Fourth Amendment rights by using excess force and conducting an unreasonable search and seizure.
Judge William Griesbach tossed out the lawsuit because Biegert’s mother called police saying her son was suicidal.
Biegert was shot and killed after stabbing an officer and threatening another officer.
