Fox Valley Metro’s police chief says it may several weeks to complete the investigation into yesterday’s police shooting.
A person was killed in Kaukauna, after leading officers on a chase early yesterday morning. They say a Fox Valley Metro officer shot the driver, while trying to take the person into custody.
Chief Dan Meister released a statement, asking for patience while the state justice department investigates. He says there has to be a balance between transparency and maintaining the integrity of the investigation.
