A national reporter for ABC News is raising questions about how House Democrats are going about the impeachment process.
Terry Moran is a graduate of Lawrence University, and he was on Fresh Take with Josh Dukelow on WHBY this morning. He says Democrats aren’t proceeding the way that every other impeachment has gone. He wonders why is this one different.
Moran also doesn’t believe Democrats have given the White House and Minority Republicans a “gesture of fairness” in the process, so far.
Traditionally, the House took a formal vote to open an impeachment inquiry, and gave witnesses a chance to state their case.
Moran says if the evidence comes in, it might be justified to remove the president from office. But he believes if Democrats don’t handle it the right way, people might not trust them.
