Local communities are struggling to deal with plowing snow and collecting leaves at the same time.
Little Chute Village Administrator James Fenlon hopes they can complete their rounds within a few days. He says they have to wait for Mother Nature to take its course, and the leaves really started falling around the same time the snow came.
Fox Crossing Administrator Jeff Sturgill says it’s not uncommon for crews to be running behind by a day or two, just because of the sheer volume of leaves they pick up. But he says the snow is compounding that.
Little Chute and Fox Crossing took to social media this week to tell people that they’ll keep picking up leaves, even with the snow.
