Kaukauna police say a coyote is approaching homes and walking through yards on the southeast side of the city.
Officers say the homes are in the 2100 block of Olde Country Circle.
They tried to deal with the situation a few times but officers say they’re limited to what they can do with a wild animal.
They have contacted the DNR for help.
Officers say neighbors tell them the animal hasn’t been aggressive but is not acting normal.
Police think it could be hurt or sick.
They’re warning people to check their yards before letting pets outside.
