A long-time Oshkosh Police detective is a victim of an alleged murder. Retired Captain Jay Puestohl was stabbed to death in a home along the 12-hundred block of Waugoo Avenue Sunday afternoon. Puestohl had served as an officer and a detective in the Oshkosh Police Department for 32-years before his retirement. A 28-year old Oshkosh man remains in custody in connection with the alleged murder. His name has not been released.
