Man Who Drove Into Lake Dies

The man that drove his SUV into Lake Winnebago following a hit and run crash has died. Oshkosh Police say the 47-year old passed away from injuries suffered when he rear-ended a car along South Main Street Tuesday afternoon. He then drove off the end of the 24th Avenue boat launch and into the water. Firefighters pulled him to safety. His name has not been released. The two people in the other vehicle were not hurt.
