Workers are returning to the JBS plant in Green Bay, and Brown County Public Health officials are very pleased with the preventative steps the company is taking.
The reopening will happen in phases, and it started yesterday.
JBS decided to close last week, because of a COVID-19 outbreak.
Claire Paprocki of the health department says the CDC toured the plant with them, and OSHA is also involved.
The company will have to provide any necessary protective equipment, and keep people six feet apart.
Some workers feel the shutdown wasn’t long enough.
