A non-profit that supports first responders is looking to raise money through a unique fundraiser.
Project Six Wisconsin is putting together a calendar featuring first responders from Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet counties.
The organization helped the Appleton fire department after driver-engineer Mitchell Lundgaard was killed in May at the transit center in downtown.
Appleton Fire Battalion Chief Shannon Young says the group provided meals for the department.
She says that took the load off them so they could grieve the loss of their brother.
Project Six doesn’t just help in times of tragedy, they also host appreciation events for first responders throughout the state.
The group is still looking for models and sponsors for the calendar.
